Rose Garden Arena
Is a multi purpose arena located in Portland, Oregon and is the home of the Portland Trail Blazers and the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL. The arena is owned by Vulcan Inc., a holding company owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, who also owns the Trail Blazers. The arena is located in the entertainment district known as the Rose Quarter, located in northeast Portland, which also includes the Memorial Coliseum arena.
The official name of the arena is “Rose Garden”; though the arena is commonly known as the “Rose Garden Arena” to distinguish it from the International Rose Test Garden, which is also located in Portland. The name was chosen both to pay homage to Portland’s reputation as the Rose City, and to reflect the importance to basketball heritage of the old Boston Garden and Madison Square Garden. When the name was selected, the remainder of the Coliseum grounds were given the name “Rose Quarter”.
In addition to the Trail Blazers and Winterhawks, the arena also features NCAA Basketball with the Portland State Men’s Team as well as the NCAA Tournament, major concert tours, WWE, UFC, Ice and Childrens shows and conventions.
Location: 1 Center Court Portland, Oregon 97227

Capacity: Basketball – 19,980; Hockey – 18,280; Concerts – 15,000-20,000 (Depending on Configuration)
